Writers’ Block?
No- sometimes you have content that you just can’t put into words
I love this platform I love it because it gives me a chance to share ‘what’s going on ‘ with those of you who I feel are really interested in what I have to say. Every now and then, however, most of us have that ‘writers block’. That period where we feel that we don’t have enough ‘written material’ for a newsletter or blog- so we don’t post anything.
We turn to platforms that require – or so many believe- less work, less thought, less time. Social media posts such as Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.
Here’s a quick look at my visit to Ischia Safari. A fundraising event held on the island that is now in it’s 7th edition.
But are we really saving time? I don’t think so. I think that, for some of us, during particular phases in our journey, it is just ‘easier’ to share a post on social media. Maybe at that particular moment I feel that it is easier to express myself with an edited video with carefully chosen music. I may have spent an hour or so choosing the right filter-words-hashtags-and soundtracks to go with it.
Last week I headed just a little bit outside of the Campania region to Lazio- to visit a Thermal spa and have a gourmet lunch at Terme Vescine - Ristorante Aqua Vescine. Fanatsticaaa!
I may have been suffering from ‘writers block’ but it doesn’t mean that I feel less creative. Just in a different way.
Once a year, I head out to try 2 Michelin starred chef' Nino Di Costanzo’s Dani Maison. Here is just an intro…
It is great that this platform gives us a chance to share our creativity and I look forward continue sharing mine.
Thanks for your support!
